Job Responsibilities: -
1) General
- Assist Senior Manager/Tender Team in executing commercial related business with good negotiation skills
- Accountable for the quality, safety, health and environmental management and performance at the workplace and project site.
- Advise on contract conditions and good in contract knowledge (e.g., PAM, JKR, FIDIC – common in Malaysia)
2) Engineering Stage
- Assist Senior Manager/Tender Team in cost estimation at each design review stage.
3) Procurement Stage
- Tender documents compilation.
- Tender package issuance to bidders.
- Addendum issuance to bidders.
- Arrange tender interview and clarification session
- Ensure bidders comply with commercial terms of the contract
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ)
- Check price error and abnormalities in proposals submitted by bidders.
- Bidder price comparison and developing cost database
- Execute tender price rationalization exercises
- Contract compilation and binding.
4) Construction Stage
- Support EHS operation.
- Prepare Change Order and Variation Order documentation.
- Execute progress claim procedure. Liaise with package owners in progress claim verification.
- Support and preparation on Extension of Time (EOT)
- Cost control and monitoring project spending vs budget and cash flow forecast
- Execute goods import related matters such as tax exemption, custom clearance and forwarding arrangement.
5) Project Closure
- Assist Senior Manager/Project Manager in final account closure.
Job Requirements: -
- Degree in Quantity Surveying.
- At least 3 years' or above experience in related field.
- Experience in M&E and General Contractor QS.
- Experience in MS Office application.
- Contract administration and negotiable skills.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
