Competencies Criteria

• Technical Certificate or Diploma in engineering and above

• More than 3 years of practical experience in machine set-up and 2 years of programming experience in the high-mixed and small-batch products manufacturing industry.

• At least able to skillfully write NC programs for three-axis, four-axis, and horizontal machining.

• Familiar with metal processing technology, cutting parameters, tool selection, and equipment selection of products made of different materials.

• Candidates who can program special-shaped parts, thin-walled, or parts with complex curved surfaces are preferred

• Familiar with new product development process, able to use at least one CAD/CAM software ( such as Mastercam, UG, Solidworks )

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, Good at problem-solving, and able to work under pressure

Position Purpose  

Compose NC programs for product machining with accuracy and efficiency, thus ensuring the stability of the manufacturing process.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for new product process development, preparation of NC programs and work instructions, ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and stability of the program

• Responsible for ECN maintenance and process data updates

• Responsible for the selection of cutting tools and the design and manufacture of fixtures

• Participate in process reviews and propose feasible corrective suggestions and preventive measures for risk and defects

• Handle abnormalities (NCR) on site promptly and effectively, formulate improvement measures and track the results

• Continuous process improvement in terms of product quality and process efficiency, and optimization for cost reduction.

• Provide technical training and guidance to technicians and assistance engineers to improve their skills

• Provide technical and machine set-up support to ensure the production plan is achieved on schedule

• Complete any other tasks assigned by the company
