The successful candidate will assist in preparing the Company’s annual financial statements, quarterly reports, and monthly management reports, as well as developing and maintaining the Group’s reporting system. Amongst others, the candidate's responsibilities will include the following:

• Prepare notes for the accounts in the annual financial statements and quarterly reports.

• Update the consolidation package for submission to subsidiary companies.

• Prepare monthly management accounts and annual budget updates and review.

• Check the submission of yearly, quarterly, and monthly accounts by the subsidiary companies.

• Perform variance analysis on actual results against budgets, forecasts and prior year, highlighting key drivers and providing insights to management.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of the group reporting system.

Requirements:-

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy and/or any other recognised professional accounting qualification e.g. MICPA, ACCA, ICAEW etc.

• At least 6 years relevant working experience, preferably in audit firms and/or public listed companies.

• Possess hands-on experience in the preparation of statutory accounts, with good working knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).

• Possess hands-on experience with consolidation / group accounts and preparation of statutory accounts.

• Good IT skills with proficiency in MS Office software. High competency in MS Excel is a must. Experience or involvement in developing a financial reporting system is an added advantage.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills with strong command of Bahasa Malaysia and English, both spoken and written.

• Good numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Meticulous, result-oriented, team player and able to work independently.
