Technical Pre Sales Manager – Cable Landing & Subsea Infrastructure

Our capabilities in Submarine Cable Installation and Marine Maintenance comprises installation and repair of deep and shallow water fibre-optic cable systems, shore end installation, engineering and subsea surveys.


We are seeking an experienced Solutions Engineering Manager to drive the development of cutting-edge subsea connectivity, dark fiber, and cable landing station solutions. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of commercial strategy, technical solutioning, and critical telecommunications infrastructure while supporting hyperscalers, carriers, OTTs, governments, and enterprise customers.



What you'll be doing:


  • Lead the development of innovative cable landing station, dark fiber, and subsea connectivity solutions for hyperscalers, carriers, OTTs, and enterprise customers.
  • Partner with customers to understand business and technical requirements, transforming complex challenges into scalable infrastructure solutions.
  • Design high-level architectures covering cable landing stations, terrestrial backhaul networks, interconnection ecosystems, and resilient connectivity frameworks.
  • Drive technical solutioning activities including feasibility studies, capacity planning, network topology assessments, and infrastructure evaluations.
  • Act as the trusted technical advisor during customer engagements, workshops, presentations, and solution discussions.
  • Lead the preparation of technical proposals, RFQs, RFP responses, solution documentation, and commercial bid submissions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, commercial, marine, network, and project delivery teams to ensure solutions are both technically robust and commercially competitive.
  • Evaluate new infrastructure opportunities, landing station developments, and expansion initiatives through technical due diligence and risk assessments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with fiber providers, data centre operators, equipment vendors, consortium partners, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Drive innovation in next-generation connectivity solutions, supporting the growth of AI-ready, high-capacity, and globally connected digital infrastructure.



What you should have:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in either Subsea telecommunications, Cable landing stations, Dark fiber infrastructure, Carrier networks or Data centre and interconnection infrastructure
  • Experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, infrastructure planning, or business development.
  • Strong understanding of Subsea cable systems, Optical transport networks, Terrestrial backhaul infrastructure, Cable landing station operations and design, Fiber connectivity architectures
  • Experience working with hyperscalers, carriers, OTTs, or wholesale telecom customers is highly desirable.
  • Strong stakeholder management, presentation, communication, and commercial acumen.
