QC Inspector

Job Summary

Assist QA/QC Department with product inspection and to ensure products are meeting customer's requirements and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out visual checks on products in compliance with the inspection criteria.
• Perform dimensional inspection with Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge and other inspection tools.
• Accurately record inspection results on inspection records and check sheets.
• Check product conformance with drawings, specifications and inspection requirements.
• Recognize and classify non-conforming product.
• Report any unusual observations during the inspection to the QC Officer/Supervisor.
• Assist in incoming, in-process and final inspection.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of measuring equipment.
• Adhere to company quality, work instructions and safety practices.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Work experience in manufacturing will be a plus.
• Able to use basic measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper and Micrometer.
• Can conduct visual inspection and have a good attention to detail.
• Knowledge of simple engineering drawings will be of benefit.
• Responsible, disciplined and keen to learn.
