Job Summary

The Return Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all return-related operations within the warehouse or logistics department. This includes managing returned goods, ensuring proper inspection, documentation, and disposition, while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily return operations, including receiving, inspecting, and processing returned items
• Ensure all returned goods are properly recorded in the system (WMS/ERP)
• Verify product condition and classify returns (e.g., resale, repair, scrap)
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Warehouse, and Transport teams regarding return issues
• Monitor and enforce return policies and procedures
• Investigate discrepancies, damages, or missing items in returned shipments
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports on return volumes, reasons, and trends
• Train and guide return team members to improve productivity and accuracy
• Ensure proper handling and storage of returned inventory
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the return area
• Identify process improvements to reduce return errors and turnaround time

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in warehouse/returns/logistics operations
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience is an advantage
• Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
