Requirements:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot) on the backend and React on the frontend.

• Build and manage cloud infrastructure and serverless solutions on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, etc.).

• Write and maintain Unix shell scripts for automation, deployments, and operational tasks. • Develop and optimize database scripts for PostgreSQL and MySQL, ensuring performance, integrity, and scalability. •

 Support and enhance payment and wallet platforms: Maxis Pay, eTUB, CTP, uMarket, and Retail Pay.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and DevOps engineers within an Agile/DevOps workflow (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).

• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions.

• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes.

• Maintain documentation for systems, APIs, and operational runbooks

Technical Skills

• 3–5 years of software engineering experience, with hands-on full-stack development.

• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for building RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Solid experience with React for building responsive, high-performance frontend applications — including component architecture, state management (Redux/Context API), hooks, and integration with RESTful APIs.

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, with an eye for clean UI/UX implementation and cross-browser compatibility.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services — particularly Serverless (Lambda, API Gateway) and EC2.

• Comfortable writing Unix/Linux shell scripts for automation and system tasks. • Strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL and MySQL, including query optimization and schema design.

• Experience with JavaScript in both frontend and scripting contexts. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Domain Knowledge

 • Demonstrated understanding of payment systems, digital wallets, or financial services.

• Exposure to concepts such as transaction processing, reconciliation, payment gateways, or e-wallet ecosystems is a strong advantage.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

• Effective communicator who can collaborate across teams in a remote-first environment. • Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently under an Agile sprint structure.

• Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement. Nice to Have • Knowledge of API security practices (OAuth2, JWT, TLS).

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Zabbix, BMC Monitoring).

• Familiarity with event-driven architecture or messaging queues (e.g., Kafka, SQS).
