Senior Manager, Engineering is responsible for leading plant engineering and maintenance operations to ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across manufacturing activities. The role oversees maintenance strategies, breakdown management, SAP PM practices, and engineering initiatives to support production, quality, cost, and sustainability targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the engineering and maintenance team to drive high equipment reliability and operational performance.
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize maintenance costs.
• Drive troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions across manufacturing, packaging, electrical, and automation systems.
• Strengthen SAP PM discipline, maintenance planning, scheduling, and spare parts management to improve maintenance effectiveness.
• Support plant operations with timely technical solutions to maintain productivity, food safety, and product quality standards.
• Lead engineering-related improvement initiatives focused on productivity, throughput, cost savings, reliability, and energy efficiency.
• Support capital projects including technical reviews, installation, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Safety, Quality, Utilities, Supply Chain, Procurement, and R&D teams to ensure compliant and efficient plant operations.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and build technical capability through coaching, mentoring, and team development.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10–12 years of engineering and maintenance experience within manufacturing environments, preferably food manufacturing.
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering and maintenance teams with strong track record in reliability improvement and operational excellence.
• Strong technical competency in reliability engineering, preventive/predictive maintenance, SAP PM/CMMS systems, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies.
