Job Purpose
To provide support on technical matters on Bus Infra related projects. To review technical submission of projects at initiation, during implementation and post completion to achieve the desired quality and objectives of the programs or developments made. To assist in overseeing the practice of safety, reliability, availability and maintainability of Operation and Maintenance during warranty period to produce the desired performance. To monitor and provide support in delivering successful projects within the expected time, quality and cost in achieving company business plan.
Key Accountabilities
- Review technical reports at for stakeholders in specific project or new development to ensure the technical aspects are properly captured in the report prior escalation to management.
- Coordinate and liaise between all parties from project working level to supporting divisions on project-related matters and eliminate conflicts between parties involved to maintain good working relationships.
- Prepare and check on the sufficiency of contents for Scope of Works, Technical Specifications, and other parts of the Employer’s Requirement in project Tender Documents, ensuring that the Employer’s Requirement is complete and fit for issuance of tender with minimal potential for variation orders or disputes during post-award stage.
- Monitor of project implementation to ensure the project outcome is as planned and achieved the targeted objectives.
- Coordinate and liaise with End-users in managing issues with consultants, third party, contractors, etc and identify potential issues to mitigate risks during project implementation to produce the desired result.
- Monitor of timely project execution and within cost and, where unavoidable, to prepare and recommend variations for consideration by management.
- To participate in tender evaluations and prepare technical evaluation reports to select the most capable contractor with the most suitable product, keeping in mind utmost transparency and adherence to company policies and code of conduct.
- Support immediate HOU, HOS and HOD to any task being assigned, as and when is required.
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering or an equivalent.
- Minimum three years of working experience in related field managing projects. Experience in public transport operation and maintenance is preferred.
- Expertise in field-specific software such as analysis and design software, etc. is preferable.
