Roles & responsibilities:
You are expected to be the Person In Charge for the Safety & Security Department and manage, control, administer and enforced the S&S SOPs. Safe guards the assets of the hotel and provides a safe and hospitable environment for guests, patrons and associates of Sunway Velocity Hotel, in accordance with the policies and procedures of the company.
1. Set up the department Security & Safety Policy & Procedures and to ensure effective implementation and enforcement of the above. To conduct periodic service audit to ensure consistency and efficiency the security performance.
2. To establish and review all administrative policies and operational procedures within the department and in relation to other departments. To supervise and co-ordinate the activities of Safety & Security Department to ensure a smooth and efficient operations.
3. To investigate into all security, fire related incidents, workplace accident and submit reports providing preventive and rectification recommendations.
4. To advise management on Safety and Health matters. To sit in as the Secretary to Safety & Heath Committee and to ensure regular meeting.
5. To supervise the performance of the Security Personnel and ensure that they perform their duties effectively.
6. To assist Maintenance Department in formulating fire evacuation plan, to conduct regular testing on Fire Fighting and Protection System and evacuation drills.
7. To ensure that staffs are handled in a courteous manner and to keep Human Resources informed when suspects/ witnesses are called for investigation.
8. To maintain close rapport with all government authorities and law enforcement agencies in order to facilitate the hotel operations.
9. To perform other duties related or unrelated to Security, as requested by the guest, the Hotel Manager/General Manager or any other person designated by him/her.
Skills & experience:
Qualifications
· Well versed in security surveillance system and general security practices
· Good Knowledge on Fire life safety regulations.
· Good communication skills and command in English
Experience: Minimum 4 years’ experience in Safety & Security in Hotel Industry or related Industry

Pay: From RM4,000.00 per month
