Position Summary
Mandatory position for CAMO as per Civil Aviation Directive 6802 – Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation Approval (CAAM Part M SubPart G). Managerial function to fulfil regulatory requirement for the management of Maintenance Operation Control (MOC). Main responsibilities include:
Responsible for ensuring aircraft availability on daily basis for timely scheduled departure towards effective maintenance.
To ensure aircrafts are available to meet network demand from operations perspective on daily basis up to 48 hours.
To load task against the available resources in Line Maintenance Operation (LMO) / Line Maintenance Stations. To check all tasks are within target and rectified within efficient timescales.
Plan, allocate and execute aircrafts movements taking into consideration of performance restrictions, station constraints and management requirements to ensure smooth scheduled aircraft operations.
Involve and collaborate in decision making with OCC and relevant Operations Management during major operational disruption
Key Accountability
Managing operational control of Firefly operated aircrafts.
Being a point/ ensure Interconnectivity between E&M, Flight Operations for all technical related and operational matters
To chair daily engineering operation meeting and to participate in the weekly Operation Coordination Meeting as Engineering representative for weekly operation discussion and update together with Flight Operation and Ground Operation Department.
Perform Engineering support and services to meet the on-time performance of aircraft turn around as per the published schedules at SZB/ KUL and all line stations operated by FY
Manage defect rectifications for all defects logged in the technical logbooks whilst maintaining the on-time departure.
Maintain the MOC to manage the daily operational constraint to provide the aircraft to meet the schedule departure time.
Control and manage aircraft AOG situation at SZB/KUL and all stations related to engineering support and services.
Establish an effective process to capture and monitor all reported defects capture in the technical log
Management of aircraft line checks and work task to maintain the aircraft maintenance schedules
requirements as planned.
Shall be responsible for timely recover of all unscheduled unserviceable aircraft across the fleet and network.
To manage immediate airworthiness and fleet compliance issues.
Shall be responsible for the planning of targeted defect rectification
Qualification & Working Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering related or holds a current and a valid
Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence from Civil Aviation Authority,
Malaysia with 5 years’ in Engineering & Maintenance.
High knowledge in Engineering & Maintenance process, system & skills,
Aircraft Maintenance Technical process,
Understanding of Company procedures, Part M and Part 145 requirements.
Excellent knowledge and experience in Project / Programme management.
Expert skills with project management / office tools (Microsoft
Excel/PowerPoint/Words/Project).
Excellent knowledge and experience in Project / Programme management and able to coach / mentor staffs for work process improvement and staff performance.
