Job Summary
The Customer & Partner Acquisition Specialist will support company market entry and expansion in Malaysia by acquiring new customers and onboarding driver/delivery partners within assigned territories. This role focuses on building early-stage market presence through field engagement, outreach, and relationship development. The ideal candidate is highly proactive, comfortable working in a startup environment, and driven by targets and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive customer acquisition (SMEs, merchants, and individual users) within assigned Malaysian territory.
- Recruit, onboard, and activate driver/delivery partners onto the Porter platform.
- Conduct outbound calls, WhatsApp engagement, and on-ground field visits.
- Build strong relationships with local businesses, transport providers, and logistics partners.
- Educate customers and partners on Porter services, app usage, and booking processes.
- Achieve monthly acquisition and activation KPIs.
- Manage end-to-end onboarding including verification, documentation, and activation.
- Support local go-to-market activities and field marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate with operations and support teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Maintain accurate reporting of leads, conversions, and market activity.
- Gather insights on competitors, pricing, and market behaviour in Malaysia.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in sales, customer service, telesales, business development, or logistics is an advantage.
- Comfortable with fieldwork and territory-based execution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia.
- Target-driven, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Able to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Basic Microsoft Office or CRM knowledge is a plus.
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
