Join Our Academic Team as a Lecturer

We are looking for a well-organised and forward-thinking Lecturer to join our reputable university. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging course content, supporting student learning, contributing to academic research, and actively participating in departmental activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing, organizing and delivering lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars
• Developing curricula and course material aligned with MQA standards and adaptable across multiple platforms.
• Collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and knowledge sharing
• Supervising graduate students where applicable.
• Designing and grading assignments, tests, and examinations
• Conducting impactful research and contributing through publications, proposals, and creative outputs.
• Participating in institutional meetings, conferences, and academic initiatives
• Engaging in professional training and development opportunities
• Providing academic and pastoral support to students and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Deep knowledge of the chosen academic field, supported by advanced qualifications (PhD preferred, Master’s degree minimum).
• Information System: Database System, Database Design & Management,Discrete Structure, Software Design, Fundamental of Computer Systems, Human Computer Interaction, Management Information System, Big Data & Business Data Analytics, E-Commerce Theories & Practices , Mathematics for Computing, Probability & Statistics, Knowledge Management
• Proven ability in effective teaching, curriculum design, and student engagement.
• Knowledge of and adherence to MQA standards and requirements, with the ability to embed these in curriculum development, assessment, and teaching.
• Previous teaching or relevant industry experience is advantageous.
• Skilled in using educational technologies and learning management systems
• Competence in conducting statistical or qualitative research, depending on the field (for postgraduate lecturers).
• Ability to integrate digital tools seamlessly into teaching and research
• Capable of motivating learners through enthusiasm and creativity
• Flexibility, resilience, and willingness to dedicate extra time when required.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From RM5,000.00 per month
