About the role

Persistent Aluminium Sdn Bhd. is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan/Mantin (25mins from Sungai Long, 15mins from Eco hill, Eco Majestic). As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for professional development and growth within our dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects

2. Analysing and interpreting contract documents to identify cost implications

3. Negotiating and managing subcontractor agreements and variations

4. Monitoring project costs and providing regular financial reports

5. Assisting with the preparation of tender submissions and proposals

6. Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery

7. Providing support and advice on contractual matters and legal compliance

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field

2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry

3. Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and cost estimation tools

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

6. Familiarity with construction industry regulations and standards

7. Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines
