Qualifications 

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python development (Flask, Django, or FastAPI). 
• Proficiency in at least one Python web framework (Flask, Django, FASTAPI, etc.) 
• Strong understanding of backend software design principles, security best practices and RESTful API development. 
• Familiarity and hands-on experience with relational databases like MySQL/PostgreSQL and basic knowledge of SQL. 
• Familiarity and hands-on experience with version control tools like Git, SVN, Mercurial, etc.  
• Experience with Linux environments and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus. 
• Knowledge of front-end tech (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a bonus. 
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging and optimization skills. 
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and work in a fast-paced environment. 
• Good communication and teamwork skills — we believe in working hard and having fun together. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, test, and deploy quality web applications using Python. 
• Build and optimize backend services, APIs, and integration with third-party systems. 
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to understand requirements and deliver clean, scalable solutions. 
• Lead code reviews, provide mentorship to junior developers and enforce coding standards and best practices. 
• Ensure application performance, scalability, maintainability and security best practices. 
• Perform debugging and support continuous integration / deployment pipelines 
• Stay updated with the emerging technologies and propose any improvements / processes in software architecture / development.
