We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern to support our digital marketing efforts and help increase O2genes' online visibility through search engine optimisation, content marketing, and website performance improvements.

This is a remote role, and overseas candidates are welcome to apply.

Job Description

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

• Conduct keyword research and identify new SEO opportunities relevant to HBOT, oxygen therapy, wellness, longevity, recovery, and related industries.
• Optimise website content, metadata, headings, images, and internal linking structures.
• Monitor website rankings and track keyword performance.
• Assist in implementing on-page and technical SEO recommendations.

Content Marketing

• Create SEO-optimised blog articles, website content, and landing pages.
• Support content updates to improve search rankings and user engagement.
• Assist with content planning and editorial calendars.
• Research industry trends and competitor activities.

Website & Analytics

• Monitor website traffic and user behaviour using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Generate performance reports and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to improve website user experience and search visibility.

Link Building & Outreach

• Assist in identifying backlink opportunities and relevant industry directories.
• Support outreach efforts with partners, publications, and industry websites.
• Maintain records of SEO campaigns and link-building activities.

AI & Digital Marketing Support

• Utilise AI tools to support content creation and SEO research.
• Assist in digital marketing initiatives, including email marketing and social media optimisation where required.

Requirements

• Experience in SEO with a strong portfolio.
• Strong written English and content creation skills.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and search engine ranking factors.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar SEO tools.
• Detail-oriented with strong research and analytical skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
• Interest in wellness, healthcare, technology, or luxury lifestyle industries is a plus.
