Role Description This is an on-site internship role based in Rawang. The Intern will support daily operations on the production floor and in related departments, assisting with tasks such as basic assembly support, documentation, and quality checks under supervision. Responsibilities may include collecting and organizing production data, helping prepare reports, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Intern will collaborate with team members to understand workflow, safety procedures, and quality standards, while learning how wire harness products are manufactured and inspected. The role is designed to provide hands-on experience, mentorship, and an introduction to manufacturing best practices.

Qualifications

  • Interest in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial operations, with a willingness to learn about wire harness production and related processes.
  • Basic organizational, documentation, and data entry skills to support reporting and record-keeping tasks.
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully, adhere to safety guidelines, and maintain attention to detail during repetitive tasks.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with supervisors, technicians, and other team members on-site.
  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a diploma or degree program in engineering, manufacturing, technical, or related fields (or equivalent practical interest/experience).
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work on-site in Rawang for the duration of the internship.
  • Basic proficiency with computers and common office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing) is an advantage.
  • Prior exposure to a factory, workshop, or technical project work is helpful but not required.
