Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Control Inspector role based in Klang. The Quality Control Inspector will perform routine inspections of materials, in-process work, and finished products to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications. Responsibilities include measuring and testing products, recording results, identifying defects or nonconformities, and coordinating with production teams to address quality issues. The role involves maintaining inspection records, preparing simple quality reports, and supporting root-cause analysis and corrective actions when quality problems arise. The Quality Control Inspector will also assist in implementing quality procedures, participating in internal audits, and communicating clearly with supervisors and colleagues to maintain consistent quality across all production stages.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Quality Control and Inspection, including checking materials, in-process items, and finished products against defined specifications.
- Foundational experience or understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Management principles to support continuous improvement and adherence to standards.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear reporting of findings, documenting results, and collaborating with production and management teams.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in record-keeping, and the ability to follow standardized procedures and work instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical documents, specifications, or work orders relevant to inspection tasks.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, printing, or publishing production environment is an advantage.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and report preparation; familiarity with quality or production software is a plus.
- Secondary school education or equivalent required; additional technical or vocational training in quality or production is beneficial.
