Credit Control Executive
Job Description:

The Credit Controller will be responsible for prompt billing and collections, liaising with bankers, solicitors, purchasers, and end financiers on loan documentation matters, and handling various administrative and coordination tasks. The role includes preparing reports, monitoring collection progress, managing purchaser documentation, and ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions stated in the Sales & Purchase Agreement. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, MHUB, and IFCA systems is an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prompt issuance of billing and efficient collection.

  • Maintain close liaison with bankers, solicitors, purchasers, and end financiers on loan documentation matters, including name transfers, MOT, redemption, discharge of title, stamping, and related processes.

  • Reply to incoming correspondences from purchasers, solicitors, and end financiers regarding loan documentation, billing, collections, sub-sales, refinancing, auctions, perfection of title, and related matters.

  • Handle and prepare documentation for TNB & Syabas account applications and terminations, undertakings, key handovers, and related administrative matters.

  • Ensure all billings, official receipts, reminders, terminations, and loan documentation are carried out in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Sales & Purchase Agreement.

  • Prepare and submit NAPIC Reports, 7F Reports, and other required reports.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly billing and collection reports, purchaser collection status reports, and other related reports.

  • Monitor and keep track of the progress of collections and loan documentation.

  • Prepare Vacant Possession letters and invoices for purchasers prior to key handover.

  • Coordinate with internal departments for key handover arrangements to purchasers.

  • Maintain proper filing and documentation systems for purchaser files and update records in MHUB & IFCA systems.

  • Ensure compliance with HDA and other relevant regulatory requirements.

  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior.

Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any field.

  • At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in the same industry is required for this position.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of MHUB and IFCA systems will be an added advantage.

  • Mandarin-speaking candidates are highly preferred as this position requires frequent communication and coordination with Mandarin-speaking clients, purchasers, solicitors, bankers, and end financiers.

  • Pleasant personality with good interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Knowledgeable in HDA and other related regulatory acts will be an added advantage.
