Purpose of Role
Execute daily collection activities to recover outstanding arrears from delinquent hire purchase accounts within the Auto Financing Division. Engage with hirers professionally and empathetically to secure payments, negotiate repayment arrangements, and escalate cases in accordance with established protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound collection calls to delinquent hirers across assigned buckets, meeting daily call volume and contact rate targets
- Negotiate payment arrangements, promise-to-pay (PTP) commitments, and repayment plans with hirers in arrears
- Follow up on broken promises, partial payments, and uncontactable accounts using multiple communication channels (phone, SMS, WhatsApp)
- Update and maintain accurate case notes, payment statuses, and hirer contact information in the collection system
- Escalate high-risk or complex cases to the Senior Executive for further action, including potential repossession or legal referral
- Process and verify incoming payments, settlement enquiries, and early settlement calculations
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2 years and above of experience in collections, customer service, or call centre operations; fresh graduates with strong communication skills may be considered
- Experience in hire purchase or auto financing collections is an advantage
- Good communication and negotiation skills with the ability to handle difficult conversations
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment with a positive and resilient attitude
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; ability to converse in Mandarin an added advantage
- Willingness to participate in weekend or after-hours calling programmes when required

Pay: RM3,300.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
