We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Reporting Executive to support the preparation, analysis, and reporting of accurate financial information. This role ensures timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist the Financial Reporting Manager and Assistant Manager in the monthly financial closing process for the Group and Company within the deadlines provided to this team.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Support year-end closing activities and external audits.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and internal review purposes.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in financial reporting or accounting (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Competent knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS).
- Audit experience (at least 2 years) in a public accounting firm or a public listed company (in a similar capacity) would be a benefit.
- Must know Double Entry
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with audit and statutory reporting.
- Knowledge of tax and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in ERP or financial systems is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
