We are seeking a proactive and sales-driven Operation Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail stores and lead a team of Area Managers to achieve outstanding sales growth.
Retail Store Operations:
- Oversee daily operations across all retail stores to ensure high operational standards and efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and visual merchandising standards.
- Implement security measures to minimize stock loss and theft, including periodic audits.
Sales Strategy and Target Achievement:
- Set and monitor sales targets for each store, driving teams to achieve and exceed these goals.
- Conduct detailed monthly sales analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to increase sales and profitability.
- Collaborate with Area Managers to create action plans for underperforming stores.
New Store Openings:
- Plan and coordinate new store openings, ensuring timely and efficient setup.
- Arrange manpower, oversee store layout, merchandising, and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and successful store launches.
Customer Experience and Brand Standards:
- Ensure consistent, high-quality customer service standards across all stores.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Ensure all stores adhere to brand guidelines and maintain appealing visual displays.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and product launches.
Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead and manage a team of Area Managers, providing guidance, support, and motivation.
- Oversee manpower planning, including recruitment, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Identify training needs and coordinate staff training programs to improve product knowledge and sales skills.
- Develop succession plans to build a pipeline of future leaders within the retail team.
Operational Efficiency and Cost Management:
- Develop and manage store budgets, including sales targets, expenses, and profitability.
- Monitor and control operational costs to maximize profitability.
- Resolve store and staff-related issues efficiently to ensure operational continuity.
Cross-Department Collaboration and Communication:
- Liaise with Marketing, HR, and Inventory departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Facilitate effective communication between headquarters and retail stores.
Key Requirements:
- Aggressive and sales-hungry mindset, relentlessly driven to maximize sales growth and optimize store performance.
- Proven experience in retail operations management, preferably in the sportswear or fashion industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate Area Managers and store teams.
- Excellent analytical skills with experience in sales analysis and strategic planning.
- Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and leadership.
- Proficiency in retail management software and sales data analytics tools.
- Flexibility to travel to different store locations as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
