Key Responsibilities 

• Monitor daily tooling issuance and return activities.  

• Maintain accurate tooling inventory records and stock levels.  

• Ensure tooling availability for production requirements.  

• Coordinate with production, engineering, and purchasing departments for tooling requests.  

• Track tooling life span, maintenance, and calibration status.  

• Prepare tooling stock reports and usage reports.  

• Conduct periodic stock checks and inventory audits.  

• Ensure proper storage and identification of tooling items.  

• Follow company safety and quality procedures.  

• Handle tooling purchase requisitions and supplier follow-up when required.  

Requirements 

• SPM/ Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. 

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in tooling store or precision manufacturing environment.  

• Knowledge in tooling management, inventory control, and store operations.  

• Familiar with precision parts and machining processes is an advantage.  

• Able to use Microsoft Excel and inventory systems.  

• Good communication and teamwork skills.  

• Responsible, organized, and able to work independently.  

Preferred Skills 

• Knowledge of CNC tooling, inserts, jigs, fixtures, and measuring tools.  

• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.  

• Strong coordination and documentation skills.  

Working Conditions 

• Based in manufacturing / production environment.  

• May require overtime support during urgent production schedules.

• Tooling stock accuracy.  

• On-time tooling availability for production.  

• Reduction of tooling loss and downtime.  

• Proper documentation and inventory control.
