Sunway Healthcare Group is looking for a Data Analytics Manager to lead our central analytics team across hospitals and corporate functions.
You will lead analytics delivery across areas such as Power BI, self-service BI, finance analytics, hospital performance reporting, clinical data repository, clinical cost analytics, and selected AI-enabled analytics initiatives. This role combines team leadership, stakeholder management, and hands-on analytics credibility.
Job description:
- Lead delivery of dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions across SHG hospitals and business functions
- Manage and prioritise analytics requests across competing business needs
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of data analysts
- Translate business questions into clear analytics scope and practical solutions
- Ensure outputs are accurate, timely, relevant, and easy to use
- Drive consistency in KPI definitions, reporting logic, dashboard design, and business terms
- Strengthen Power BI and self-service BI practices with the right balance between flexibility and control
- Improve reuse of datasets, reporting logic, and dashboard patterns to reduce duplication
- Partner with Data Engineers and Digital Hub to improve data quality and analytics dataset readiness
- Support key solutions such as self-service BI, clinical data repository, clinical cost analytics, executive dashboards, finance analytics, hospital performance reporting, and selected AI-enabled analytics initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles
- Proven experience leading analytics delivery across multiple stakeholders, workstreams, or business domains
- Proven experience leading or mentoring analysts, including review of deliverables and team development
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, dashboard design, and data visualisation
- Strong SQL skills and enough technical depth to review logic, challenge assumptions, and guide analysts effectively
- Good understanding of data modelling, reusable datasets, KPI logic, and reporting controls
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, prioritisation, and planning skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in the healthcare industry, especially hospital, clinical, or healthcare operations data
- Experience in finance analytics, management reporting, or working closely with Finance teams
- Experience in self-service BI, KPI standardisation, reporting governance, or cross-functional analytics delivery
- Exposure to AI-enabled analytics, automation, or decision-support solutions is an advantage
