We are looking for an experienced Network Build Engineer to join our Global Network Build team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise-level network infrastructure across global environments. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, network security, cloud networking, and deployment engineering.

The successful candidate will work closely with Network Engineering, Security, Operations, and Cloud teams to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient connectivity solutions across WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise network infrastructure solutions for global deployments
• Create Low-Level Design (LLD) documents, deployment plans, and implementation procedures
• Configure and deploy routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and SD-WAN solutions
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, testing, optimization, and root cause analysis for network issues
• Support migration activities and provide technical guidance for infrastructure enhancement projects
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to maintain secure network architecture
• Prepare operational support documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions
• Provide Tier 3 escalation support including after-hours support when required
• Support multi-cloud networking environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Participate in Agile/Scrum project delivery and sprint activities
• Identify automation opportunities using Python and/or Ansible
• Maintain technical diagrams, procedures, and network documentation using Visio/Lucidchart
• Research emerging networking technologies and recommend improvements

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in enterprise network engineering/build environments
• Strong hands-on experience configuring enterprise networking equipment and network security technologies
• Expert knowledge of Layer 3 technologies:
• IPv4
• BGP
• OSPF
• EIGRP
• PIM
• HSRP
• DMVPN
• NHRP
• GETVPN
• Expert knowledge of Layer 2 technologies:
• VLAN
• Spanning Tree
• QinQ
• Dot1Q
• Strong experience with:
• Cisco networking solutions
• Fortinet firewalls
• Checkpoint firewalls
• SD-WAN technologies
• VPN technologies
• LAN/WAN infrastructure
• Load balancers (F5/Citrix)
• Proxy, WAF, and IPS technologies
• Experience with cloud networking technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred
• Experience with network automation using Python and/or Ansible is an advantage
• Ability to create detailed technical documentation and deployment procedures
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent skillset is preferred
