The position reports to the Head of Engineering
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Senior or Lead DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic retail IT team at TIME. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in integrating security best practices throughout our entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from design and development to deployment and operations. You will champion security automation, build robust security controls, and work closely with development and operations teams to ensure the resilience and integrity of our cloud-native applications.
Your work life:
- Infrastructure Management: Build, maintain, and enhance scalable cloud infrastructure.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Design and implement automated pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
- Monitoring & Performance: Set up monitoring tools, logging systems, and alerts to ensure uptime and performance.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to streamline workflows.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Incident Management: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues, minimizing downtime.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Manage and deploy containerized applications using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
To be considered, you’ll need:
- Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in a DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering or related role.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of cloud and infrastructure concepts such as virtual networks, compute instances, serverless, storage, and databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g. Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and experience integrating and leveraging Application Security Testing (AST) tools like SAST and DAST within CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog).
- Familiarity with security best practices for cloud environments, containers, and web applications (OWASP Top 10).
