Overview of Job Role

As an Intern – System Engineer, you will gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity technologies under the supervision and guidance of our experienced engineering team. You will assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cybersecurity solutions, and develop practical skills in a real-world IT security environment.

This internship is designed to provide exposure to enterprise-grade cybersecurity tools and methodologies while contributing to the team's day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Implementation Assistance

• Assist senior engineers in deploying and configuring cybersecurity solutions, including data protection, authentication, and identity management tools.
• Support the setup and basic configuration of authentication systems such as MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) and SSO (Single Sign-On).
• Help with testing and validating configurations before deployment under engineer supervision.

2. Support and Troubleshooting

• Assist in monitoring systems for potential vulnerabilities or anomalies and escalate findings to senior engineers.
• Support troubleshooting efforts for cybersecurity tools and applications by gathering relevant information and logs.
• Help resolve basic technical issues under the guidance of senior team members.

3. Documentation

• Assist in maintaining and updating records of system configurations, changes, and incidents.
• Help prepare documentation, user guides, and reports as directed by senior engineers.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, organized, and stored appropriately.

4. Research and Learning

• Conduct research on emerging cybersecurity technologies, tools, and industry trends as assigned.
• Study and familiarize yourself with the company's cybersecurity product portfolio.
• Share findings and learnings with the team to contribute to collective knowledge.

5. Client and Internal Support

• Assist in preparing materials for client engagements or internal presentations under supervision.
• Observe and participate in client site visits or technical meetings when appropriate.

6. Team Collaboration

• Demonstrate commitment to the company's vision and mission.
• Actively contribute to team efforts and maintain a positive, collaborative work attitude.
• Communicate proactively with team members regarding task progress and any challenges encountered.
• Qualifications & Requirements
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and IT security principles.
• Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Prior exposure to cybersecurity tools or concepts (e.g., through coursework or personal projects) is an added advantage.
