Responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support on permissions and Power BI Service topics.
• Validate backend logic in SQL and perform source‑to‑dashboard checks.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Execute pre‑checks for data and refresh issues.
• Enhance report performance and driver forward user experience improvements.
• Document data lineage, transformations, and reporting logic.
• Establish structured standards for documenting and maintaining SQL and Power BI dashboards to ensure consistent, scalable BI development across the team.
• Support team in designing and developing new dashboards and semantic data models.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and automation.
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Advanced Power BI skills, including report building, data modelling, DAX, and performance optimization.
• Strong DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
• Demonstrated skill in performance tuning and governance (RLS/OLS) including setting up and maintaining Power Automate workflows.
• Ability to apply UX best practices, ensuring a clear, consistent, and user‑friendly front‑end experience
• Experience building and implementing governance processes for SQL scripts, data pipelines, and dashboards (including versioning, documentation standards, naming conventions, and quality checks).
• Understanding of financial KPIs, P&L structures, cost center logic, and management reporting is an asset (preferably in a SAP environment).
• Clear communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Comfortable working within an international team located in Germany and Malaysia.
