Job Description

Involved in project implementation and integration for various IT systems infrastructure solutions. Work closely with clients to ensure projects are completed according to the schedule. Provide technical supports and advisories to clients. Perform preventive maintenance on clients’ systems infrastructure. Provide necessary technical documentation to clients.

Responsibilities

Project Implementation

• Lead and coordinate project implementation.
• Conduct assessment and understanding of the client’s systems and network infrastructure.
• Provide project implementation checklist or plan to client.
• Perform installation, configuration, and support during project implementation.
• Update project status to client if project implementation is still in progress.
• Conduct project closure with knowledge transfer on the implemented systems and user acceptance test (UAT) sign-off with client.
• Provide documentation for implemented systems which includes systems architecture diagram, build and configuration, and UAT.
• Provide standby and technical support during project warranty period.

Technical Support

• Response to the technical issue via phone or email within service-level agreement (SLA).
• Provide onsite or back-office technical support to remote sites with client to resolve technical issue.
• Liaise with principles or other vendors to resolve technical issue.
• Provide onsite or off-site standby when required.

Preventive Maintenance

• Response to the preventive maintenance request via phone or email within SLA.
• Conduct onsite or back-office systems infrastructure health check assessment with client.
• Conduct systems infrastructure health check assessment report with client.
• Provide systems infrastructure health check documentation to client.

Requirements

• Candidate must be Malaysian citizen.
• Strong written, verbal communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
• Team player, highly motivated, well organized and result oriented.
• Able to work under minimum supervision and willing to travel.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information System, or any IT related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Systems Integrator (SI) role.
• Able to manage and handle basic or intermediate project implementation.
• Able to perform 1st or 2nd level support such as analyze, diagnose, and solve technical issues.
• Possesses basic or intermediate level of Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, Veeam, Veritas, HCI, HPE, or DELL related certifications.
• Good knowledge and skill set at least 2 of the following categories below:
• Server, storage, SAN switch, and tape library hardware integration solutions (eg: HPE, DELL)
• Operating System (OS) level solutions (Windows Server, Linux, Unix)
• Hypervisor solutions (eg: Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware)
• Hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) solutions (eg: VMware vSAN, Nutanix)
• Microsoft related on-premises or cloud solutions (eg: Active Directory, SQL, RDS, Clustering, SCCM or MECM, SCOM, Exchange, m365, Azure)
• Backup and replication solutions (eg: Veeam, Veritas, Acronis)
• Virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions (eg: VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops)
• IT operation solutions (eg: SolarWinds, ManageEngine)

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
