JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assist in receiving, unloading, inspecting, and verifying machines or equipment upon arrival based on purchase or delivery specifications.
- Support safe handling, packing, loading, and transportation of machinery between warehouse, customer sites, and supplier locations.
- Assist technicians and engineers in machine installation, setup, testing, and commissioning at customer premises.
- Perform basic troubleshooting, inspection, and minor maintenance tasks on machinery under supervision.
- Ensure machines are properly stored, handled, and maintained according to safety and operational procedures.
- Support warehouse and logistics coordination for equipment movement and storage planning.
- Prepare and update operational documents such as inspection reports, delivery records, checklists, and service reports.
- Communicate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers regarding machine status, technical issues, or service arrangements.
- Provide basic guidance to customers on machine usage, operation, and maintenance procedures when required.
- Ensure all work activities comply with company safety standards, quality requirements, and operational procedures.
- Support after-sales service activities and assist in resolving basic technical issues.
- Carry out site visits locally (and overseas if required) to support operational and technical tasks.
- Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors to support operations and project completion.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Qualification Requirements:
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field is preferred, and fresh graduates from technical or vocational institutions are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in machinery handling, logistics coordination or technical service (fresh graduates with strong technical background may be considered).
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, particularly industrial machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret machine drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Familiar with machine testing, troubleshooting and installation procedures.
- Experience in logistics handling of heavy equipment or machinery.
- Good communication skills for coordination with suppliers, logistics teams and customers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Willing and able to travel frequently within Malaysia and occasionally overseas.
Personal Attributes:
- Detail-oriented and proactive.
- Hands-on and willing to be on-site for inspection or installation.
- Able to multitask and work under minimal supervision.
- Good teamwork and customer-focused mindset.
- Flexible and adaptable to travel schedules or operational demands.
SALARY & BENEFITS
- Basic salary range : RM2,500-RM3,000
- Annual performance bonus and yearly increment (based on company performance and appraisal)
