Working hour: 8:00am to 5:45pm (Monday to Friday)
The IT Support & Systems Specialist provides key support for ERP and POS systems, digital tools, and automation initiatives. It helps ensure smooth daily operations, assists with system enhancements, and supports the adoption of new technologies to improve business efficiency.
Job Description1. ERP & POS System Support
Provide support for ERP and POS systems, including troubleshooting issues and coordinating with vendors for fixes and upgrades.
Assist in the setup, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cashier/POS systems, including hardware and software components such as receipt printers, barcode scanners, payment terminals, and network connectivity.
Support Expo Fair cashier POS systems during events to ensure stable daily operations.
Respond to user inquiries and assist in resolving system-related issues.
2. Automation & Digital Tools
Conduct training sessions and provide internal guidance for staff on the effective use of AI and productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini Pro, Gamma, etc., to improve team efficiency.
Propose and implement innovative technology initiatives that improve business efficiency, streamline workflows, and encourage AI adoption.
Familiarity and knowledge with Microsoft Office 365 tools such as Power Automate and SharePoint. (Added Advantage)
3. User Training & IT Support
Provide daily IT support, including PC setup, hardware maintenance, and troubleshooting of peripherals such as barcode printers and scanners.
Assist users with system guidance and basic troubleshooting.
Conduct basic sharing or guidance on productivity and digital tools when necessary.
Hands-on training and guidance will be provided to help candidates understand and perform the role effectively.
4. Collaboration & Documentation
Work closely with departments to gather feedback and recommend improvements to system processes and usability.
Collaborate with the MIS/IT team on ongoing projects and operational support.
Prepare basic documentation, user guides, and progress updates when required.
Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), or related fields.
Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of ERP/POS systems and IT support is an advantage.
Basic PC troubleshooting knowledge is preferred.
Exposure to Microsoft 365 tools, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, ChatGPT, DeepSeek, or other AI/digital tools will be an added advantage.
Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
IT-related roles may require flexibility in handling additional or ad hoc operational tasks whenever necessary within IT capabilities.
Proficient in EN, BM, and CN (spoken and written) is an advantage.
