Key Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Conducting regular inspections, lubricating components, and replacing parts to prevent equipment failures.
• Corrective Maintenance: Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing broken machines or systems to restore functionality quickly.
• Equipment Installation: Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring all equipment complies with safety regulations and conducting safety audits.
• Documentation: Maintaining detailed logs of repairs, upgrades, and maintenance schedules in systems like CMMS.
• Optimization: Recommending and implementing machinery modifications to improve performance and reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: A diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field is typically required.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blue prints, and P&IDs.
• Troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic faults.
• Tools Proficiency: Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure, meeting with JMB (usually during night hours)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
