Key Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation
• Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Measure quantities from drawings and prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Support in preparing tender documents and cost analysis.
• Contract Administration
• Assist in reviewing contracts, specifications, and project documents.
• Support preparation of contract documents and variations.
• Project Cost Control
• Monitor project costs and expenses.
• Assist in tracking project budgets and financial reports.
• Help identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Tendering & Procurement
• Assist in sourcing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare comparison reports for quotations.
• Support evaluation of tender submissions.
• Site Measurement & Valuation
• Conduct site measurements and verify work progress.
• Assist in preparing interim payment claims and final accounts.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain proper records of project costs and documents.
• Prepare reports for project managers and senior QS.
• Coordination
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Attend meetings when required.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Civil Engineering.

Experience

• Fresh graduate or 1–2 years experience in construction or related field.

Skills

• Knowledge of construction drawings and measurements.
• Basic understanding of contract administration.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and QS software.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
