Job Summary

The Finance Manager will oversee the full spectrum of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls. This role plays a key part in supporting business expansion, improving financial efficiency, and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple business segments.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

• Manage full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and financial closing.
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
• Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to management.
• Track performance against budget and highlight variances.

Cost Control & Business Support

• Monitor operational costs across multiple business units (recycling, e-waste, waste disposal, etc.).
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
• Support management in pricing strategies, project evaluation, and investment decisions.

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
• Oversee tax planning, SST/GST matters, and statutory submissions.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement

• Establish and strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial procedures.
• Drive process improvements and system enhancements for better efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure proper documentation and audit trail for all financial transactions.

Team Leadership

• Lead and manage the finance team, including coaching and performance management.
• Develop team capabilities and ensure high level of accountability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support business operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in manufacturing, recycling, waste management, or industrial environment is an advantage.
• Experience handling group accounts or multiple business units is preferred.
• Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• High integrity and strong sense of responsibility.
• Proactive, hands-on, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical mindset.

Pay: Up to RM8,000.00 per month
