Key Responsibilities
- Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks (espresso, lattes, teas) according to company recipes and quality standards.
- Customer Engagement: Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and provide personalized menu recommendations.
- Operations & Sales: Handle QR Pay and credit card transactions using the POS system. Upsell specialty items and seasonal promotions to enhance the customer experience.
- Maintenance: Clean and sanitize work areas, seating, and brewing equipment (espresso machines, grinders) throughout the shift.
- Inventory: Monitor stock levels of beans, milk, and supplies, reporting needs to the manager.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Prior experience as a barista or in hospitality is preferred but not always required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operation.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a positive, team-player attitude.
- Availability: Flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
