Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Project: Assisting in the development of a high-performance, video-based social media application (TikTok-style UI/UX).

• Work closely with the lead developer to build and refine React Native UI components.
• Implement clean, responsive designs.
• Assist in connecting the mobile frontend to a Node.js/Express backend via REST APIs.
• Learn and apply modern state management and clean code architecture.
• Help configure and manage cloud storage for video and image assets using AWS S3.

Requirement:

• Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React or React Native (personal projects or coursework is great!).
• A proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn how to build scalable, production-ready mobile apps.

Bonus point:

• State Management: Previous exposure to Zustand, Redux, or React Context API.
• Solid JavaScript/TypeScript Foundation: Strong understanding of ES6+ concepts (arrow functions, destructuring, promises, mapping).
• Backend Basics: Basic understanding of Node.js, Express, and how RESTful APIs work (since you will be building this next!).
• Version Control: Knows how to use Git/GitHub (branching, committing, and creating Pull Requests) to collaborate with you safely without breaking the main code.
• A foundational understanding of cloud platforms (specifically AWS S3 and EC2 is a huge plus!).

Pay: RM700.00 - RM750.00 per month
