Job Purpose:
The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of driver management and workshop repair operations. This role acts as a key liaison between drivers, planners and the workshop team to optimize fleet utilization, manage repairs, enforce driver discipline, and uphold operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Workshop Repair Coordination
o Breakdowns - Ensure swift response and resolution.
o In-house Repairs - Liaise with the workshop team to prioritize and schedule repairs.
o Third-Party Repairs - Arrange and follow up on repairs done by external workshops.
o Special Cases - Handle unique repair requests or urgent issues requiring immediate attention.
2. Fleet & Truck Availability Management (Liaise with Driver Management team)
o Assessing if a repair is genuinely needed before pulling a truck from operation.
o Coordinating with the workshop team for necessary repairs.
o Allocating a different truck for the driver, if required.
3. Handling Special & Shortage Cases
o Conduct investigations and interviews with drivers involved in such cases.
4. Repair Planning & Coordination
5. Preventive Maintenance & Scheduling
o Servicing
o Bushing and bearing replacement
o Tire changes
o Greasing
o etc
6. PUSPAKOM & Compliance Management
o Scheduling truck inspections.
o Planning and coordinating truck repairs to pass inspections (in-house or third-party).
o Managing booking schedules for inspections.
o Organizing and updating truck availability for inspections.
Key Competencies & Requirements:
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
