Job Summary
- Provide onsite technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Ensure smooth daily IT operations for end users
- Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and issue resolution
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite IT support to users (desktop, laptop, printers, POS systems, etc.)
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues
- Support Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and common business applications
- Set up and manage user accounts, email, and system access
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance
- Assist in network setup (Wi-Fi, LAN, routers, basic connectivity issues)
- Handle IT equipment inventory and asset tracking
- Provide basic training and guidance to end users
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT team when required
- Maintain proper documentation of issues and resolutions
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic knowledge of:
- Computer hardware & peripherals
- Windows operating systems
- Networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, Wi-Fi)
- 1–2 years experience in IT support (fresh graduates may apply)
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and onsite
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Experience with POS systems or retail IT support
- Familiarity with remote support tools
- Basic knowledge of servers or cloud systems
Job Types: Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
