Job Title: HR Intern
Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic HR Intern to support the Human Resources department in daily operations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn the full spectrum of HR functions including payroll support, recruitment, employee relations, training coordination, and foreign worker administration. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in HR processes and compliance within a fast-paced working environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Payroll & HR Operations Support
- Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll by collecting and updating employee information such as attendance, overtime, allowances, and deductions.
- Support the HR team in ensuring payroll data is accurate and properly recorded.
- Help maintain HR files, employee records, and documentation.
2. Foreign Worker Administration Assistance
- Assist in updating foreign worker master listings and relevant HR databases.
- Support arrangement for FOMEMA medical check-up, passport renewal, and work permit processes.
- Help compile documents for submission to immigration and other government departments.
3. HR Compliance & Documentation
- Support the team in ensuring HR practices comply with statutory requirements and company policies.
- Assist in preparing letters, memos, reports, and other HR-related documents.
4. Employee Relations & General HR Support
- Assist in handling employee inquiries related to HR matters.
- Support HR activities, staff events, and employee engagement initiatives when required.
5. Training & Development Support
- Assist in applying, managing, and maintaining training grants with statutory bodies.
- Help coordinate internal and external training programs.
6. Administrative & Ad-Hoc Tasks
- Perform administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and document tracking.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by the HR Supervisor/Manager.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to learn and able to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general office software.
- Mandarin Speaker preferred.
Location: Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur (Near Bus station & Kuchai MRT)
Pay: RM800.00 - RM1,200.00 per month
Work Location: In person
