Job Summary
The Barista is responsible for delivering high-quality coffee beverages and supporting daily coffee roasting operations. This role combines front-of-house customer service with back-of-house production, ensuring consistency in coffee quality from roasting to cup. The position requires strong attention to detail, passion for coffee, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Barista Duties
- Prepare and serve coffee and espresso-based beverages according to company recipes and standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and handle customer inquiries.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar, equipment, and workstations.
- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, and bar supplies; report shortages.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards at all times.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience as a barista is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of espresso extraction and brewing methods.
- Physically fit to handle light lifting related to coffee beans and equipment.
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays if required.
- Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
