We are seeking a skilled Foundry Process Technician to support foundry production operations, including melting process control, chemical composition analysis, and production quality monitoring. The candidate will be responsible for spectrometer testing, alloy and chemistry adjustments, process monitoring, and ensuring products meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and monitor daily foundry melting and refining operations.
• Perform spectrometer analysis and verify chemical composition according to material specifications.
• Prepare and adjust alloy additions and raw materials during production.
• Monitor process parameters including temperature, chemistry, and production conditions.
• Coordinate with production and quality departments to ensure smooth workflow and product quality.
• Record production data, heat records, and material consumption accurately.
• Troubleshoot process and chemistry-related issues during production.
• Assist in improving production efficiency, yield, and quality performance.
• Maintain workplace safety and comply with company operating procedures.
• Support continuous improvement activities within the foundry operation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certificate or diploma in metallurgy, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• Experience in stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, or alloy steel production.
• Experience with melting, refining, or heat treatment processes is an advantage.
• Experience with spectrometer analysis and chemistry control.
• Knowledge of steel grades, alloy materials, and foundry production processes.
• Ability to interpret material specifications and production requirements.
• Familiar with foundry safety and quality practices.
• Able to work independently and support production schedules.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
