We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Network Security Support Engineer to provide 2nd level support for cloud-based network security services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network security technologies, cloud networking, and operational support in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd level operational support for cloud-based network security services, including:
• Firewalls
• Web proxies
• Application delivery/load balancing
• DNS services
• VPN technologies
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and service issues within agreed service levels (SLAs).
• Investigate and perform problem-solving activities for network security services and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams to ensure service stability, availability, and performance.
• Implement infrastructure changes following established change management processes.
• Ensure all operational and implementation changes are properly documented and transferable to support teams.
• Maintain compliance with company security standards, operational procedures, and best practices.
• Support customer queries and provide technical guidance related to network security services.

Requirements (Must Have)

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Telecommunications, Networking, and/or Network Security environments.
• Solid understanding of networking and security concepts, including:
• Firewalls
• TCP/IP
• IPSec VPN
• HTTP/HTTPS
• DNS
• Experience with public cloud networking principles, specifically:
• Microsoft Azure and/or
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Cloud Proxy solutions
• Strong knowledge of at least one of the following technologies:
• Fortinet Firewalls
• F5 BIG-IP
• IPSec VPN
• Web Proxy technologies
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage priorities under pressure.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

• Timely resolution of incident tickets and operational issues.
• Successful implementation of approved infrastructure changes.
• Effective handling of customer technical queries and support requests.
• Stable and compliant operation of network security services.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Cyberjaya
