Company Overview:
A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, vendor management, and cost optimization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals
- Manage vendor selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring
- Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production planning
- Prepare purchase orders and manage contract negotiations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities
- Build strong supplier relationships for long-term partnerships
- Prepare procurement reports and cost analysis for management
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of procurement experience in the manufacturing settings
- Strong knowledge of raw materials and supply markets in both local and international markets
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office
- Strong analytical and cost-management abilities
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to travel locally and internationally to meet with suppliers
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
