Job Scope – Account Executive

The Account Executive is responsible for managing the company’s full set of accounts and ensuring accurate financial records. The role requires experience in using SQL accounting software and the ability to handle daily accounting operations independently.

Responsibilities include:

• Handle full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.
• Prepare financial reports, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records using SQL accounting software.
• Issue invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Monitor customer payments, supplier payments, and outstanding balances.
• Perform bank reconciliation and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Assist in payroll, claims, petty cash, and staff reimbursement processing when required.
• Prepare SST/GST-related reports, if applicable.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers, suppliers, and customers.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Support management with ad hoc financial analysis and administrative tasks.

Requirements:

• Experience in handling full set accounts.
• Familiar with SQL accounting software.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail, responsible, and well-organized.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
