Position : Software Engineer (C# .NET)

Salary : RM 3,500 – RM 6,000

Location : Damansara Uptown

Working Days : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri

Job Summary

We are looking for a Software Engineer (C# .NET) to develop, maintain, and enhance scalable applications. You will work with both .NET Core and legacy .NET frameworks, integrate with MS SQL and Firebird databases, and participate in Agile software development processes.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework.
• Implement new features with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Write optimized queries and manage transactions in MS SQL and Firebird databases.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues to ensure system stability.
• Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams and contribute to continuous process improvement.
• Support and enhance legacy systems while integrating with new technologies.
• Follow best practices for version control, deployment, and software maintenance.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in C# and .NET development (.NET Core and .NET Framework).
• Experience with Web APIs (REST), MS SQL, and database integration.
• Familiarity with Redis, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Ubuntu deployment is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Experience with Git/Bitbucket and JIRA.
• Understanding of Agile Scrum methodology.
• Experience with legacy system maintenance, migration, or enhancement is advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to RM6,000.00 per month
