About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and patient Part-Time Math Teacher to join our team and work with children aged 7 to 12. The ideal candidate loves working with kids, has a strong math background, and can make learning both fun and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach basic to intermediate math concepts appropriate for ages 7–12, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and early geometry.
• Design or adapt lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and levels.
• Use engaging, age-appropriate teaching methods to keep students motivated.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents or guardians.
• Create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure student safety (for in-person roles).
• Prepare a progress report after each class/session

Qualifications:

• Prior teaching or tutoring experience with children (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to break down complex concepts into simple, relatable explanations.
• Patient, enthusiastic, and adaptable to different learning paces.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM20.00 - RM30.00 per hour
