Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to lead and oversee nursing operations within our rehabilitation setting. The role involves managing patient care services, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring high standards of clinical practice and service delivery in alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Administrative & Leadership
- Oversee daily department operations and performance
- Lead, supervise, and coach nursing staff
- Plan staff scheduling and patient care assignments
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
- Manage departmental budget and resources
- Review and update policies and procedures
2. Clinical Management
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and regulations
- Monitor and evaluate quality of patient care
- Support nursing staff in delivering patient-centered care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Guide patient education and discharge planning
3. Resource & Workforce Management
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels and skill mix
- Participate in recruitment, retention, and succession planning
- Monitor departmental budget and supply inventory
4. Facilities & Safety
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment
- Maintain a safe and compliant working environment
- Support evaluation and procurement of clinical equipment
5. Quality Assurance
- Lead quality improvement initiatives
- Monitor key quality indicators and patient outcomes
- Report incidents, risks, and safety concerns
6. Training & Development
- Plan and implement staff training programs
- Ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements
- Promote evidence-based practices in clinical care
7. Service Excellence
- Drive high standards of patient care and service delivery
- Address and resolve patient feedback and complaints
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with valid Annual Practicing Certificate (Malaysia)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Post Basic Certificate (preferred)
- BLS / ACLS certification (preferred)
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of nursing management experience
- Experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,825.70 per month
