Job Title: Staff Applied AI Engineer
Location: Cyberjaya, Selangor (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Staff Applied AI Engineer to design and scale production-grade AI systems. This role focuses on moving beyond prototypes to build reliable, high-performance AI solutions that operate at scale and support business-critical functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable AI systems for real-world applications
• Own end-to-end delivery from development to production and adoption
• Build robust solutions that handle latency, reliability, and scale challenges
• Collaborate across engineering, operations, and compliance teams
• Drive best practices, code quality, and technical standards
• Balance speed vs. quality in system design and delivery

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years building production AI systems (not prototypes)
• Strong experience in Python and/or TypeScript
• Hands-on with AI/ML systems, APIs, and scalable architectures
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Strong understanding of system design, performance, and reliability
• Ability to work across ambiguity and lead technical decisions

Tech Stack

• Languages: Python, TypeScript
• AI/ML: OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, LangGraph, custom ML pipelines
• Infrastructure: AWS, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, vector & graph databases
