Job description:

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct teaching sessions according to students’ individual learning abilities and needs.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and activities suitable for special needs students.
• Monitor and record students’ progress, behaviour, and development regularly.
• Provide guidance and emotional support to students in daily learning activities.
• Assist students in developing communication, social, and self-care skills.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a safe, positive learning environment.
• Work closely with parents, therapists, and management regarding students’ progress and needs.
• Adapt teaching methods and strategies to suit different learning disabilities and conditions.
• Ensure students’ safety and well-being during classes and school activities.
• Participate in meetings, training, school programmes, and related activities when required.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to students’ performance and attendance.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the management from time to time.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Special Needs Education, Psychology, Education/Teaching/Training, or equivalent.
• Fresh grad are welcome to apply.
• Must have a compassionate and positive attitude ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and own position with these roles and be able to enthuse and inspire children
