Operations Manager

Position: Operations Manager
Salary Package: RM7,000 - RM9,000
Working Location: Ara Damansara, PJ
Company Background: Freight & Forwarding Services
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8:45am - 5:45pm

Job Descriptions:
· Day to day responsibility for the operations including Seafreight, Airfreight, Logistics and Agency functions.
· Monitor operational performance, productivity, and service quality to meet company objectives and customer expectations.
· Ensure smooth day-to-day operational activities and timely service delivery to customers.
· Lead, supervise, and motivate the operations team to achieve operational targets and service excellence.
· Ensure effective manpower planning and resource allocation.
· Handle and supervise specialized cargo operations including: OOG (Out of Gauge) cargo and Breakbulk shipments.
· Utilize freight forwarding systems and IT platforms efficiently.
· Monitor operational costs and support basic accounting functions where necessary.
· Prepare operational reports, performance analysis, and management updates.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in an operations management role within a freight forwarding or logistics company.
Strong hands-on operational knowledge in freight forwarding, including OOG and breakbulk shipping.
Exposure to the Oil & Gas industry.
Good understanding of: Freight forwarding operations, Malaysian Customs regulations, HSE and Quality compliance & Basic accounting practices

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
